You can do everything else diagonal, why not stairs? Sims in this version only need 1/2 square to get around. If you use the dwn.220.v.ua objects cheat, you can use the "9" and "0" keys to move objects down and up. shouldn't actually need any stairs as Sims can hop onto the platform even at that angle.
